Say goodnight Andy
Just recently welcomed Lucy home this month. She is now 9 weeks old and doing so well with learning new commands.
Rogue is just so hard done by (she was told she canāt have her noisy ass ball at 9am this morning)
My poor Betty Boop had a long day at the vet yesterday.
She was howling/crying like a fool because she couldnāt say hi to some of the other dogs. ![]()
I switched her to a low cost clinic because I couldnāt afford the cost of a private veterinarian office anymore. WELL, the Rx food she originally got prescribed by the private vet was not going to be fulfilled anymore because they havenāt seen her in a year which I totally get.
Since it would have taken me a while to get into the low cost clinic to get the refill, I just decided to take her back to the private vet for a wellness check on her allergies
, nail trimā
, and a Lyme disease vaccine
that hasnāt been administered by the low cost clinic. I also took her medical records from the low cost clinic so the private vet can have Bettyās record updated there.
I will probably have to keep doing this hybrid of low cost clinic/private clinic for Bettyās care but it is what it is. It will help keep my costs manageable.
Zuko isnāt normally a big cuddler be it he is super skittish, but I got this picture of him not long ago! Him being the ālittle spoonā next to Harley is so adorable ![]()
May I ask what is Zukoās eye condition?
I had a bunny with one eye before.
Adorableā¦..
Born to be a starā¦.
Zuko!! Perfect name!
When I got him checked by a veterinarian when I adopted him I was told possibly a congenital cataract because he was born with it! He is less willing to jump to high places and is very skittish, I think because of the visibility issues! But he is a happy, spoiled boy ![]()

His sisters name is Azula
she is much more outgoing and behaves much more cat-like!
Her face looks like Nuggies when she is all curled up like that. ![]()
Thank you for sharing.
I was just curious. Yes, he very much looks like a happy, well loved boy. ![]()
I had a bunny that when they surrendered her, the rescue question them about her eye. They said āit was always like that.ā When the rescueās vet assessed her, the eye had to be removed.
She was a sweet floofy girl. I loved her and felt sad that she passed away too soon. ![]()

Is Nuggies the dog in your profile pic? ![]()
I had bunnies when I was younger, that are fun animal companions. Iām sorry for your loss! If I wasnāt wicked allergic Iād probably own one now! My sister owns two so when I visit her I sneeze a lot and my eyes itch ![]()
Sometimes it could actually be the hay and not the rabbits! I had rabbits since I was a child and always used timothy. As an adult, I grew severely allergic to timothy. I switched to orchard and I havenāt had issues since!
Interesting! Worth looking into, thanks for the insight!
The brand of hay matters too. Although popular, I stay away from Oxbow because it is sooo dusty! ![]()
She obviously deserves to be driven places. ![]()
