I avoid my dogs having these as well as the other well known toxic foods but I also wonder how the hell my grandparents dog survived . It literally ate nothing but tables scraps and I’m certain grandmas cooking contained garlic and onions on the regular…. My best guess is it developed some kind of higher tolerance from exposure.
Boscoe Puked in our bed but is feeling fantastic now! Better yet…hubby found it so i didnt have to pick it up!
Omg
we play that game too! Whoever finds it has to clean it ![]()
But not before coffee. I just cover it with a paper towel until after coffee. She sleeps in anyway ![]()
Glad he’s feeling better. Andy seems fine. I guess.
It’s an odd one my dogs have always had scraps including alliums. Always well cooked and they’ve never had an issue, all living well and healthy into their late teens.
Before it was common knowledge I had a dog that regularly ate chocolate digestives (wouldn’t actually eat a plain one). Lived until she was 20, she also liked a good curry and erm would partake if someone was fool enough to put a glass on the floor.
Still I wouldn’t recommend any of the above always better to be safe, and I do now try to pick the majority of the alliums out of the scraps.
Someone missed me while I was at work today. He’s on my lap and all up in my personal space (’m leaning back to get this shot.) At least I know someone here at home still likes having me around.
Wish I could like this twice. That’s a very happy pup. ![]()
