My ‘train geek’ heart loves this!
Thanks for picking up the torch! I really enjoy seeing everyones pictures, sort of a way to see the world from the comfort of my home.
This is the pride and joy of my town… the smoke stack. It was either this, or the prison that would define our town, I am glad it was the smoke stack.
Aww, I used to live in the SFV
The finest in town!!
I thought those were radishes. And I’m like - hmmm why were all the tops cut off?
This is my neighborhood and shopping area I frequent. Also the park I go to a lot . Live right by the water. One day was hitting golf balls into the river and the neighbors didn’t like that to much… they asked if I was going to jump in and get all the golf balls lol . Didn’t do that again!
Some of you may know Aspirin or the Bayer pharmaceutical company. The pictures above are from the first plant where it all started in the 1860s. If you look closely you can see the Schwebebahn in the background of the second picture.

The trails in my hood. Some days you can see where the ocean meets sky on the top pic. Through the haze of course. Can’t wait for snow capped mountains in the winter. Off in the distance of course.
I’m still looking for the Schwebebahn. It’s not helping that I don’t know what that is.
I don’t blame you. There is only one of its kind in the world. If you zoom into the picture there is a small blue train hanging suspended from a greenish track. Zoomed in in looks like that
Awesome pictures on here and a great idea! I’ll take some snapshots soon and put them here
