This is the village where I was brought up , I love coming back to it when I visit my mum

On a warm sunny day, I like to spend my time in the city. The Seattle Center is a big park that is home to the iconic Space Needle, several museums, cultural theatres (ballet/opera), as well as the Kraken’s home arena. This is the exact place I met my wife (in person) 29 years ago this month, when we were just kids.

It’s officially Spring now in Vermont. The trilliums are in bloom - they come in different colors, but the maroon ones are called “Stinking Benjamin”. As they mature, they will give off a pungent odor. Also spotted fiddlehead ferns still furled up on the shady side of the road, and getting leggy and opening up on the sunny side. When they are quite young, before they get any height to them, they can be steamed and eaten like asparagus.
