Photos of where you live

Nothing like a good game of baseball in Chicago during the summertime. :sunglasses: The area around both stadiums have definitely seen some upgrades. A lot of food options.

Definitely going to be safe no adventures to the store for ice cream tonight! Keeping my phone plugged in case we lose power and I got my flashlight. Got sandbags but I don’t think I need them.All is well thank you

US weather is freaky, that’s what I’ve learned in the 6+ years I have lived here :scream:

That’s definitely true. It just depends where you’re at. Tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, blizzards and so forth and sometimes you can’t even watch the weather because mother nature does what she wants. I’ve always been fascinated by weather and meteorology. I definitely don’t understand it but it’s some thing I’d like to learn about. But I did read tonight a little bit about why there’s no hurricanes in Europe and that’s because Hurricanes form over warm ocean waters. I definitely want to learn more about hurricane specifically.

Mother nature is the one higher power that I don’t dare mess with cause she will obliterate all life in an instant!

My aunts on my dad’s side are in Tallahassee along with cousins and their families. Spoke to them about an hour ago and so far they are doing good. I’ve been checking the radar and it looks rough :grimacing: I’m glad you are ok but that sucks about no ice cream tonight lol

Sorry to hear about your family in Tallahassee they will definitely be in my prayers tonight. Hope everything works out for them. I looked at the radar also every so often it definitely looks crazy. But that comes with the territory of living here. And that’s OK about the ice cream. I can definitely use less sugar. I’m conquering most of my addictions but sugar is still up in the air. One day at a time

Thought you might like this wall at the Malibu Market.
@TMAC
It’s got to be 30 feet tall.

Went next door and saw this
San Pedro Cactus

I swear it was calling me. It’s no saguaro :cactus: but I’ll take it. I do miss those saguaro :cactus:
