I seriously love that outfit. Honestly that’s definitely something I would wear nowadays.

Another church gathering, and another dress. I’ve got so many photos like this. I remember that I actually was allowed to wear this dress in school, but I can’t find the school photos where I do.

Happier times. Think I’m about 7 or maybe 8 here. With my mum on a trip to Brighton. She died aged 46 of alcoholism shortly before my 21st birthday and I miss her every single day  I wish she had found sobriety, but I don’t think she was very much interested in ever stopping.

I think this is brilliant, I bet your lunch box has still got the original piece of fruit in it that we never ate

Not that there’s anything wrong with it
But I’m suppose to be an 18 year old man :muscle:

You don’t look like a girl you look like a cool 70s dude.

Actually it’s not strange at all, scientifically you don’t start to remember thing until you are 3-4 years old mostly. It depends a little but generally it’s within that range.
If you’ve had trauma you could also have some memory loss from older years and events because it’s a protective mechanism that our brains use sometimes.

Both of my boys have long hair today. The 9 y/o hair goes all the way to his butt. He usually wears it in a braid and refuses to get a haircut because “Jesus had long hair” nope we aren’t religious I don’t know where he got that from but it’s his choice. My 11 y/o har his hair below the shoulders because he wants to grow up to be either a Viking or a hard rocker. (If a Viking had real long hair in great condition it was seen as a proof of fortune and a lot of money)

One lesson every parent should learn is to pick one’s battles. With my kids, when they were young, it was clothing. You want to wear rain boots, a tutu and a knit cap? Go for it.
