Me in the vest. My sister on the left. My step bro on the right. My older step sister’s head wasn’t captured on the pic. :disappointed:

I found this recently at my dad’s. It was taken around 97-98 at the age of 13. I was emo before emo was a thing . I remember I was all in a mood that day cause I met my new step mom for the first time.

Two questions Ray - Is that a Fair Isle cardigan your sister is wearing? And who is that kid on the left, in the shrubbery? :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

This scene reminds me strongly of the school uniforms my brothers and I wore in Richmond, Surrey, in the late 60’s, thank you for the memory.

Me on the left my brother on the right. It’s only fitting to post this photo right now because I was on the way to my parents to spend the night to be here for Thanksgiving and my mom said she had to go somewhere to pick up some thing she bought online from somebody on the way there but when I got to the house my brothers wife answered the door which really threw me off I was tired from washing dishes and working all day so I figured she was just here by herself visiting then my brother walked outside. My brother and his wife live in Austin and I had no clue they were coming to Florida for Thanksgiving my mom and dad tried to make it a surprise the last couple months when they were planning. It’s funny because when my mom picked me up from work She said she had to go somewhere to pick something up and when we went 30 miles out of the way she said she had to get a plant I was literally about to text my brother and ask him what he was up to and that I think our mom is going crazy lol she’s taking me 30 minutes out of the way to buy a plant from a stranger the day before Thanksgiving! Then I walked out to the door and my brother and his wife walked out. Definitely a surprise. Now me and my brother and my mom Are decorating the Christmas tree and talking about Old times. My dad is out playing a show right now. Will have Thanksgiving here tomorrow and then go over to spend time with my brothers wife’s family and they are Peruvian so I know the food will be really good… As well the vibes. Only thought I was spending Thanksgiving at my parents house but now I guess I’m going to my extended family’s house. I have an exit strategy if things get weird… Anyways I’m grateful to be present for the holidays. Would I rather be by myself probably but I have a family that has done a lot for me and always been there. I don’t have to be here I get to be here.

I found this on my mom’s Christmas tree. I made it for her back in kindergarten.

Freshman year in high school. Right before I started drinking :sob:. I wish I had a time machine. Never would’ve picked up a bottle.
