That was the beautiful face my daughter put on at that age. Same sentiment.

I quit scanning my pics a long time ago and realized I can just take a pic of the old pic with my phone then I got it to put anywhere else.
I got some really old home movies that are on DVD. Now. I don’t watch them often. Too long and boring. But when I do I take a short video of it with my phone and send it off to my kids.
I feel like I’m beating the system with my iPhone taking pics of pics and videos of videos.
Thanks for starting this thread.
So fun.
And my daughter now. Were like spitting images although she’s only soon fourteen
ROFLMAO
Love the caption.
That is the sweetest picture of anyone. How much money did you make on that one? it’s worth a million bucks!! Great story.
I love how little boys will do anything to have fun, lol… so cute, K…
Still do!
haha thank you. I was a very photogenic child. I’m not sure how much money. Apparently the photographer had tried everything to make me smile and he was kind of put out when my mother was like, “hold my beer, bro,” and whipped out the cash and it worked. I’m sure I got a couple of quarters. I’m just really lucky my mother didn’t decide I should have some of those horrible 80’s glamor photos where people are photographed with their pet and they have a back drop of their face.
I’ve only scanned a few pictures. Generally when I need a specific one, I’ll go dig in the stash or the scrap book. There may eventually be a time when I sit down and scan the ones I really care about, but life, you know? I’ve yet to wake up and think, “Today I’m going to sit at my computer all day scanning old photos!” That’s not a bad deal taking pictures with your phone and recording the videos like that.
I mentioned above don’t know if you saw it but When you do come across a good old pic I just take a pic of it with my phone. You got to watch out for the glare but it’s so easy and works so well. I hardly use my scanner anymore.
1st communion day with the traditional gift in my family, a transistor radio! And in my grandparents’ pool later that summer.
And one more, one of my all time favorites. This was taken in 1970, it’s my mother and all my brothers. I get a kick out of how it looks like album covers of the era, with every single person looking out of the frame in a different direction! And the mod threads, yeah baby!! I’m on the far left in the gray jacket.
I can’t picture this… can someone please indulge me?
