I need to get rid of my addiction. God is not happy with my behavior. I need God’s help and forgiveness.
Please pray for me.
I love you all.
God is not mad at you.
Praying as i type… God forgives us everytime we sin.
Thank you. You are an angel.
Friend, according the Psalmist at Psalms 34:18 God is NOT mad at you. In fact (and I quote) “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
This is a forum of crushed and broken people, and if you’ve read the Gospels, Jesus came and spent time not with the high and mighty but the lowly and broken. He dined with tax collectors and let former prostitutes wash his feet.
Recovery takes humility. That is not a quality that God condemns my friend… and don’t forget the Proverb (24:16) where it says the the righteous will fall seven times, but he will get up. The number ‘7’ is often not literal in the Bible but conveys completeness… so just keep trying your best. Thats all we can do.
If there is one thing I have learned from being sober, is that our Lord loves you, more then you will ever know. He wants you to be happy, but gave us this amazing gift called free will. He is not mad at you, If anything, he hurts for you. He knows that there are demons in your life, dragging you down. Look those demons in the eye and say “Not this time, I am strong. I have the Lord on my side”
I like that, “this is a forum of crushed and broken people.”
I will pray for you as well. You are always welcome here. @MrMan
Praying for you. Cool thing is that God sent his son for the broken and crushed. He identifies with our weakness and walks through each step with us. I cryout with you and for you that you will overcome by the relentless tenderness of Jesus! When you dont know what to say, just say Jesus…a favorite song of mine.
Don’t panic, the Lord is there and ready to take care of you. I have a pebble which I have kept in my pocket since I started this journey, I got it from Bath Abbey at Christmas and it says “The Lord is my rock and my fortress, in whom I take refuge” Psalms 18:2. I’m taking each day as it comes and putting my faith in God that he will support me. I am very thankful that he gave me all you beautiful people to help me on this journey too ️
Thank you.
You are all very kind people.
A simple pray can make huge difference in my life.
Thank you.
Please pray for me. I relapsed tonight.
I am doing this to get closer to God.
Just give up and give your life to God. Ask him for forgiveness and surrender to him! Wish you the best of luck stay strong I’ll pray do you
