I’d guess that’s a rug made from climbing rope? I have 2 old ropes I’d like to make into a rug!

Exactly it was our first rope. Isn’t quite as large as I expected or wanted it to be, so now it just sits on our couch and the cats lay on it/scratch it. You should definitely make one, it was time consuming and a bit of trial and error but pretty meditative and rewarding!

I have watched a vid or 2 on youtube on how to do it. I need to get that done. Right now they just are packed away in the gear closet. I hope you are still climbing!
