It was! Friend of mine had called their TV provider, they didn’t want their DVR back, and they were not looking forward to making a trip to the depot to recycle it. I said I’ll take it… easy 500 GB hard drive to add to my rig.

And by removing the board, the case works as a sturdy (secret ) box, too. Feels good, too, to avoid quite as much expensive recycle processing needing to happen.

I got loads of these, and comparable ones from Italy, from my cycling days in the 90’s. This is the oldest one I have, from a holiday with some school mates in 1984. Always loved maps and Michelin are still my favourite brand and type.

Idk about Bigfoot anymore, but I definitely am with you on the extraterrestrials I just started watching Resident Alien on Netflix if you’re looking for a good sci-fi show. It’s pretty hilarious
