Ghosts don’t move in and out depending on holidays. Neither do witches 
Haven’t put up my fall wreath yet, it usually goes up September 1st and down Dec 1st to be replaced by a Christmas wreath.
In my our culture (Gypsy) there’s a tradition that when you move into a new place, the first night before you go to bed you set the table with your finest china for fika. Fill the cups with coffee, put sugar and milk on the table, together with some Fika (sweet pastry) to show possible former residents (aka ghosts) that you don’t want to drive them away, that you accept their presence and hope that y’all can live in peace together.
