Sing .. been getting back into recording and playing music the last year or so.. Music has always been a huge part of my life But a lot of that got set to the sides because of addictions.. I’m learning I have to force myself to sit down and work on stuff because I don’t always feel the inspiration I can’t go off of what I’m feeling because Then nothing will get done. I’m mostly just writing right now and working on guitar parts.. I’m trying to learn this tascam 24 track porta studio I bought but it’s definitely a learning curve and I hate reading manuals so it’s been trial and error. Even though the music I mostly write or play is a combination of blues rock, reggae and punk I actually primarily listen to rap. I want to combine rap and indie. I have so much to say like I said mostly doing a lot of writing. I feel like winter will be the majority of the actual recording and if I don’t make the beats myself or do the drums digitally I will record the real drums at my dads house and Fortunately he has the same exact tascam. Seems like you have a lot of fun music Equipment also !!

The next machine I want to get is in a akai mpc1 .. It’s a standalone machine that can make beats, sample and can store everything digitally and some other things It can do!! It’s basically like a computer in itself. Then I can interchangeably use the tascam 24 track and mpc1 .. the tascam can be for the live instruments and vocals and the mpc1 for the beats And if I want to sample any cool sounds off of records
I’m not against computers I just feel like I can focus better if A computer/ laptop is not involved
Ps: And when I say rap I’m not talking about talking about selling drugs / jail life and degrading women and the typical thing that sells I’m talking about rap about real life struggles, Every day things and normal people stuff.. !! And the stuff I’ve been through!!
My tism is about to be so satisfied lol
