I was out walking Chief a few hours ago. Older lady sees him and is just in love with him, tells me how she recently lost her dog, asks if she can pick him up (wish I hadn’t said yes, but I did). She held him about 10 seconds.
This lady REEKED of that really strong old lady perfume. You know what I’m talking about. That smell is now transferred onto my dog, still heavy after like 3 hours. He’s in the other room and I can still smell him. I’m gagging. I like the way he usually smells, his usual “dog” smell, and this perfume stench is unbearable.
Good god I hope it fades off soon…

How about a bath? 
It might be the only way. I don’t have any dog shampoo but I can only take this for so much longer! Trying to keep him off my bed for now…I can’t have that smell rubbing off on there next
You can use dish soap and vinegar; I just looked it up, lol.

Just gave him a rinse in warm water and let him air dry outside running around a bit in the sun…seems to have done the trick.
Slight wet dog smell, but I’ll take that over that perfume…I was choking!
