Nevermind expensive dog toys. He has some, but one of his favorite things is just this old t-shirt of mine. I wore it to bed a few nights, then let him have it. Its held up for about a year so far. It also helps him chip in…he doesn’t have a job, so he helps sweep the apartment by dragging it around everywhere he goes 
This is where he sits and waits for me to play tug-of-war while I’m working. By “waits”, I mean sits and stares at me with those big ol’ cow eyes.

Very patient!
Well except when he wants to get under the comforter. Then he’s in a rush, lol. But even then he just gives me a light tap with his paw to let him in. Always super gentle when we are playing and knows not to snatch at things.
Never whines, only barks if I rile him up when we’re playing. Just a very happy and content little fella. Loves to play, loves to run, loves people. He also likes trying to eat bumblebees lately, we’re working on that one…

Occassionally he’ll jump up and grab a fly out of the air if one has gotten in through the window. Thats always pretty cool. He likes helping

I missed out on the thread at some point and have found myself catching up on 8 months of everyone’s pets.
So I had no idea as I was catching up on Lady’s adventures @siand.
She was a real ‘character’ and you must miss her so much. If they ever resolve this dog allergy thing (I have dog and cat allergies) I would love to have a dog like her. She was very special.
