Sobriety helped my dream of moving to the PNW happen. we moved here when I was 1.5 years in. And in a couple weeks, it will be 2 years since we got here.
PNW, is that Washington state way? Seattle, Oregon sort of area. Looks nice
Yes. We live near Astoria, Oregon. Where the goonies was filmed.
Lovely
Love that black and white pic. Great looking cat
@Frandango I thought I’d move our cat sharing here instead of the gratitude list
@Jennajen didn’t want you to miss out on the kitty convo.
Fran, I do remember someone mentioning Captain Kruger of the Starship Fluffy Bottom. Now that you mentioned it. It probably went right over my head and out the window as soon as I read it. But I will not forget Kruger. He is a fluffers. By the way I had a great night sleep and I’m doing much better today.
Anyway that box Daisy loves is
And here is Maverick on everyone’s favorite Pet Lounger.
This thing is solid and all 4 of them use it all the time. I highly recommend this thing. After looking it up though I can’t believe how expensive it is. Oh well. I love my cats and the pet lounger will last forever. And at least they don’t scratch on the furniture. They use the stuff we bought them. Again that can be had on Chewys or Amazon.
Kruger would love to be lounging on it I’m sure.
Hi @Dazercat, good idea moving the thread. It was turning into a daily cat chat rather than a gratitude list still great fun though.
Thanks for the pics of the cat beds. I looked for the box with a comb on Amazon but didn’t have much luck so this will be a great help! I can feel a spot of shopping coming on! I like the posh expensive one too, but I always do like expensive things
Here are a couple more pics of furry friends. The black cat was Salem and he was very switched on and ‘talked’ incessantly. In this photo he is quiet annoyed as he had climbed into the top of my wardrobe (where I never go, and neither did a duster) and seems to have caught an unexpected cobweb or two!
The other one is Captain Kruger. Looking very pleased with himself! I think he knows he is handsome. He’s just really milking it here!
P.S. I love the name Maverick
Looks like those fluffy looking fellows are very attracted to you. And it looks like Salem was doing the cleaning for you. I reckon from your text you no longer have Salem . We’ve been through so many pets all natural or old causes for death and it never gets easier. As a natter if fact it gets worse:rage: with this pandemic I’m more worried sick about something happening to me and wifey and what would our 6 guys do without us. Not even worried about our kids cuz they are in a good place now each with great spouses. I must out live this batch of pets. I’m sure between my 3 grown up kids they would work something out to take care of them. But the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. They all have pets too. My son could take back his 2 cats.
Kruger indeed looks very happy with himself. As he should. I wish I looked that handsome. He is so gorgeous. Is Kruger an only cat now? I always wanted a Maine Coon. We had a fluffy guy once. Ours have mostly been short haired and orange. Except this batch. One time we had 4 orange tabbies and a white one. Always all rescues. Here’s our furriest of guys O’Malley RIP. He was the best loveliest happiest guy ever.
He liked a good cubby too.
Maverick is on of my sons cats. So is Beatrix. They belong to us now. When my son got his rescue cat it was named “little fish”. Kind of stupid if you ask me. He changed it to Maverick. Good name. Mostly we call him Mavy.
So adorable
What a magnificent beast. So beautiful. You are both blessed.
Thank u…I am honestly in love…she is the sweetest horse …and big…16 and a half hands
