“Chiefy’s big day out”
I was in my mtg this morning, and I thought to myself, “Self, let’s make today extra special for Chief”.
So I did. I brought him to the dog park that he pretty much grew up in. I brought him here for the first 2 yrs of his life, and we haven’t been in like 2.5 yrs. When my ex and I bought our house, we were too far to go. It was actually where she and I met the first time. I’m still an hour away now but it was worth it. It was good for me too, good way to get out and talk to people.
Its one of the only true off-leash parks in the area (any others are tiny little fenced in things – useless). This one is a penninsula that juts out into the bay. Chief LOVES swimming and he doesn’t get to very often.
We were there for like an hour and a half…intervals of ball time, swim, rest, have some water, repeat. He had a heck of a time.
Yes he likes to rest on top of the picnic table. King of the mountain.
