Sally, my silver lab.
I didn’t even want a dog in the first place, life was busy and hectic. My wife and I had just bought our first house and we’re excited to have our forever home in the country to raise our 2 boys. A couple weeks after the home was finalized, miss Sally showed up, all of 8 weeks old and my boys fell in love so I let it go, against my better judgement.
Fast forward 18 months and it was just me and the dog I didn’t want in that forever home. At that point in my life Sally was literally the only thing around me that I felt I could trust. We split custody of the boys but I’ve spent many nights alone in this house over the last 3 years and this dog is quite literally like a best friend to me.
I love your dog too. I can hear your love for her in your words and see it in the pics. We are here for you now and, of course, going forward. peace and < 3
