Edit: I think Chief is really bummed out that my Mom is gone. She was/is really good with him, and he really loves her. He’s just been lying on the futon where she was sleeping, poor lil fella.
Alas, Chief is a resilient beast. He just needs a day to adjust.
He will also lose his damn mind when my Dad gets here in a few weeks.
