Cats are very particular arent they !! Mine whenever i make a bed or a cozy space come straight away like i especially made it just for them or they are checking its done to their standards. I love them so much.
Even if i move things aroung at home they are there checking what im doing

I was on the couch and got up and threw the blankets back and didn’t realize Charlie was under there and he didn’t seem to care either… when I came back he was just laying there until I pulled the blankets back and his head popped up
