Thank you for asking Besides meowing at me waiting for Max to come back. She’s well. She’s been on hyperthyroidism meds for several months now, she has gained some weight back, but still under 6lbs, she looks good though. She’s 13 and still very active, she’s always been my little puppy.

I spoke to soon. Riley now realizes Max is not coming back, she’s been somewhat manic and starting to pull her hair out. I know she’s anxious. It breaks my heart.

She’s been sleeping on his spot at night so I brought down blankets and stayed on the couch overnight with her. I don’t want her to be sad or scared. We both have an emptiness where Max was and the joy he brought us. Like everything else, ODAAT.
