Oh so sweet of her to do so and how much fun they must have…boscoe seeing all his cousins today :star_struck:

That is so cool.
I didn’t know your mom had a crew. How would I?
What a great bunch.
No wonder Boscoe loves going over there. I would too :grinning:

‘Rest easy sweet girl’
… I am soooooo sorry. Heart wrenching. Real tears reading it. Glad she gave y’all those kisses …. So sweet. And glad she stayed alive long enough for your little one to come home. That was surely important to her. Big hugs and lots of consoling thoughts.

Oh gosh. I missed your post and I’m so sorry. It’s so heart wrenching. What a sweet pup. Sending lots of hugs and support. My old lady girl is slowing down and I’m mentally trying to prepare but there is no such thing. Nothing prepares us for these losses. :people_hugging:

Awww what a cuddle bug! Thanks for your message. I agree…nothing prepares us. I keep getting into cyclical thinking about missing her and wanting to hold her again and it just goes and goes and goes. I have to keep repeating to myself that “she was in pain and moving in the wrong direction quickly. Her quality of life was rapidly diminishing and the most compassionate thing to do was to love her and then to help her rest”

I’m finding this somewhat helpful.

It’s just the “getting stuck in the unhealthy super sad cycle” that is really shitty. Give your little cuddle bug a big hug and kiss for me if you can

You said it all. When we lost Chucho it was so traumatic for us because he died in front of us the day before we were to take him to the vet to put him down. I got so stuck in some shame spiral but also grateful that Lupe could see him go and she clearly understood what happened and we could all grieve together. But FU*K it’s hard.

Lupe is getting all the love right now and thank you for asking for it. Some of it is definitely for you :heartpulse:

Our newest family member. His name is Andrew, very easy going, doesn’t eat much, not making noise, not sure if using litter box tho

No. It was too small and went back in the river. He really wanted it though.

Got those happy doggos. The starbies is closed for renovation so no pup cup today  They didn’t seem to care much though. We got the vet for yearly checkups later!

Here’s Alfie enjoying a swim in the North sea. This dog just loves water. I was also in for a paddlle.
