Didn’t realize that. We stayed in Buffalo when we were there. It was a cold fall day in Palmyra, but by the time we got back to Buffalo, snow had buried the city. The power went out everywhere. Transformers were blowing all night long. It was a miserable experience visiting Buffalo.

That’s pretty much the only type of visit to buffalo.

Phelps creek #1511.

The kids and I did the whole buck creek pass loop this summer. It was pretty great.

Is this your video? Pretty sweet!

43 miles for the whole loop? That is hardcore. Did you split it in to several days? I saw that the Phelps Creek trail is about 23 miles or so. I haven’t hiked a lot of the Okanogan region. Mostly Rainier and Wenatchee. My boys are quite a bit smaller than yours though. They’re slow and can’t carry much more than their own water and sleeping bag. Thus, my bag weighed down significantly. Our hikes are no more than 4-5 miles a day right now. When they get a bit older, I’ll start distributing the weight more evenly.

That was a pretty cool video though.
