The Kemijoki River, flowing thru my home town
I took these around 3pm. It was dusk before 4pm and the sun was down by 4.30. Entering into Arctic winter.
Looks nice but cold!
Yep. But it’s not even that cold yet… It will drop another 20-30 degrees
I grew up in MA so I know cold winters! That’s why I’m here in the south. Last time I visited up there I couldn’t believe how cold it got, and winter hadn’t officially started!
I do like the warmth of a fireplace though. And loved cross country skiing.

Coming back on island this morning; I took video but can’t upload it here… it was crazy! Debris all over the roads, the top of the bridge was unbelievably scary with the wind shaking the car so bad! Then it was blinding rain and the cops were switching the off island traffic into my lane and no warning; I happened to see vague headlights and pulled over to the right side!
Very exhausting ride home from the doctors office, lol!
Dan, it was so scary! And I was here for a cat 5 hurricane, but driving over the bridge and causeway I was holding my breath.
I love bird feeders! I had them when I lived in Sagamore Beach.
It looks like it’s going to land up by you; near Tampa I think.
