I also wrote a poem for these photos:
Walking slowly through frozen tears in the grass,
tears more brittle than the most fragile glass.
Walking in nature, breathing deeply its fresh air,
leaving there all those worries, all the things I can’t bear…
In whichever season of the year or whenever I feel alone,
every wood, meadow or plain on the Earth feels like my home.
When I think of GoPros I think of filming. They are amazing at that.
They are amazing cameras too. I’ve been extracting photos out of videos. I recently learned how easy it is. Hands free photography on the Ocean.
I bought My Canon 5dmark4 with money I saved drinking for five months. It was 3200 dollars with the lens.
A GoPro Hero 8 costs 299 dollars. Thats what I used for these. the waterproof factor really makes it an amazing camera. A housing to shoot underwater costs 3grand for my canon.
The wide angle is nice too.

Amazing!!!
Beautiful
Awesome!! I bought my hubby a GoPro and he just uses it for ATV riding. I should use it too! Pretty amazing photos you’ve got there
My 5 year old loves the moon and planets. I showed him this and he asked if my friend took the picture with a telescope, or if they took it up close from a space ship
I can not for the life of me get the moon and clouds in my pic and it’s really getting to me! The only time I can get like the trees and surrounding is if I take the picture between like 430-6 after that it’s blackness around the moon I have a Nikion d80. What settings are u using to get that shot
I wanted to share because i didnt realized how good of a camera it is…
Also its inexpensive, making it nice for someone in recovery to pick up a good hobby to help fill that uncomfortable void of time we have when we first stop.
I run to my camera instead of the booze when I’m overwhelmed. Editing videos and photos fill time I spent at the bars.
My booze savings is 20 bucks a day. I could have bought a GoPro to celebrate 15 days sober!
This crab season I’m buying scuba gear. Something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. As a drunk all i did was talk about doing stuff. In recovery, I do it.
This was taken sticking a selfie stick and the GoPro in a tide pool.
To get the details in the moon it requires a fast shutter. my camera wants to shoot around 1/25 of a second, blowing out all the details. these were taken 1/250 of a second shutter speed. They are noisy out of camera. I used Topaz Studio 2 to remove the noise.
I use topaz Adjust to make it pop.
One of my favorite things about photography. I notice more. It slows me down enough to appreciate it all.
I love these! I wish I could see some snow. Don’t get much in the Southeast. What area do you live in?
