Gorgeous!
Is this not wild garlic? It’s spreading here atm. Thanks for reminding me to pick some up making some pesto
Stunning, my dream place of life i think every heathen dreams of someday stepping foot on the shores of Norway
And I love this!
Looks nice, Conor; don’t tease the ducks!
Real pretty. I use to have relatives up in Barre VT. They had a nice spread of land. And a trout pond. I’d catch them and my Godmother would clean and cook them for me for breakfast. What a great deal that was. My mother would stick me on a bus in Lowell MA at 12 years old and I’d make the change at White River Junction. Your pics always bring back lovely childhood memories. It’s probably been 45 years since I been up there.
We had a little snow early afternoon but you can’t tell. It’s hard to get a good sunset pic with all the trees but I caught this yesterday evening when I was taking the dogs out for a whizzy.
Signs of spring!
The forest floor today was blanketed in maple saplings, poking up through last year’s fall of leaves:
And some keen flowers made an appearance as well:
I recall seeing those at the beach when I lived in Cali long ago. Luck to me that I never got stung by one!
Bye for now…
Oh man I’d love to cast a fly out on that water!
All your ride pics are inspiring me to dust off my old mountain bike and find a trail to explore. My bike is just sitting in my living room all sad that I have not rode it in a couple of years. I’m sure it needs a solid tune up first.
Bye for now…
