Here’s some pics of the beautiful flora and the garbage of Santa Monica. To me it just seems amazing to see all the beauty by an ally with dumpsters.

Bougainvillea and ally dumpsters

Dumpster and beautiful bottle brush bush.

Snap dragons. My wife’s fave.

For some reason I just love the white roses all over town. Maybe because they are so pure.

And totally fascinated by this huge lemon tree with a rose bush intertwined on 16th street.

Having too much fun being sober :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :rose:

California isn’t all that great and beautiful like tv makes it out to be but it has its spots.

3 American Bald eagles live in the tree across the street from me. Moved in right when the state of Mass. Locked us all down last year. 1 male, 1 female and one youngster that hasn’t even went through his changes from fully Brown feathers to the white on his head and tail yet. Amazingly graceful and simply breath taking to watch fly and just ride the thermals. I am 2 weeks today and they are way more enjoyable to watch sober. :eagle::wink::grin::heartbeat:

You’re right it isn’t. There’s a lot of nothing to drive thru before you get to the coast. But the coast is beautiful. I don’t know much about the rest of Cali except the drive to get here. And that basically sucks. Such a big state.

That’s a beautiful shot right there JF
I love the deep green contrast with the rest of the mountain shy and clouds and sunlight.

Not a very nice picture of it, but it was something we saw when we were driving to a hiking point.
We saw a circle arount the sun: a halo.
We don’t see that often here:
