Post your most inspiring photos of nature #2 (Part 1)

The 60D is an amazing camera! It may automatically stack them in camera. I have never used Gimp.

My canon automatically stacks them. from there I use Lightroom. When I do manually stack them I use Photomatix. That what I used back in the day. I still have it and use it occasionally. Topaz Adjust is fast and easy to give any photo HDR. I mostly use that. Topaz Studio 2 is amazing at cleaning up noise. Fast!

Ive been paying the subscription to photoshop but hardly ever use it. Back in the day there was a filter called LucisArt. It was amazing for simple HDR. Its not around, and its to big of a pain to use my old copy of photoshop. Abobe has made it that way. they want your monthly fee.

A day on the river Nice! Tight lines!

No luck fly fishing on the river but got lucky at the pond and got a bass. I let it go to fight another day. My first catch of the year and I got my 6 month milestone badge today on ST so I’m happy.

Bye for now…

She’s precious.
I spent 36 years in Austin. Raised my family there.
Loved it. Fun town. Maybe too much fun :grimacing:
Congrats on your week.
:pray:t2::heart::rose:

As excited as I am to GTFO, I will miss New England springtime. Nice time of year here.

Got eaten by mosquitos while taking the pic though. No mosquitos in southern AZ! (mostly, or so I have read)

Unfortunately mosquito’s are everywhere, but definitely not as bad here in Tucson as some other places I’ve lived. Its gonna be a big change moving to this area! Good luck with the move, hope everything goes smoothly!

I do not miss the mosquitoes!
I always forget about that benefit.

Those scorpions can be a bother though. :scream:
Not to mention the rattlesnakes. Although in all my years in Tex and AZ I haven’t had much trouble with them.
