Woodland meets sea.
I always love seeing the deer down at the ocean except this year they have been out of the woods a lot because of the drought. Global warming sucks.

The sky last night was wicked cool.

They actually do drink some.
As far as I have heard it helps with the digestion of all the grasses they eat, like a goat, cow or horse uses a salt lick.

It is for sure not their main water source though, and I do believe that it is the brackish waters they tend to drink more of.
