Amazing start to a new day  I Love your attitude! Walking so many km before work every day is a great idea in my opinion too. But most people, who have the same opportunity, will rather choose comfort - longer sleep, travel by car/public transporr, excuses why they can’t.
So I admire everybody who gets behind their comfort zone and discovers how rich and beautiful life actually is
I don’t walk, my work is too far. But I cycle 20km there and then 20km back  So I feel your spirit :four_leaf_clover:

Cycling that much every day is a thing I never would do so respect Jana. I cycled a lot when my kids where little to get them to school. I had my 3 kid in a bycycle trainer behind my bike and biked between 25 an 35 km a day. It was a bit like drinking: I had enough for my entire life so I do not do that anymore
I listened to a podcast a few days ago during a long 24 km walk. It was about getting up very early to sport and have benefit of it the rest of the day. It was about a book and I think I have to read it because this is what I do and experience.

Ahahaha, ok, I get it. Enough of cycling for you
Oh, cool. I am a runner and the feeling if I go for long walk or run first thing in the morning always gives me the best feeling for the rest of the day.
Anyway, 24km walk…that’s super insane :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: How are your joints, mainly hips coping??
I wish to introduce you to my boyfriend’s mother who drives to the next street to get to work. It’s literally 5mins away by walk. I will never get it. Never :woman_shrugging:t4::woman_shrugging:t4::woman_shrugging:t4:

Inspired by @SoberWalker I went for a 2km walk. (I can’t do more after my foot injury which is still healing).

Such great memories from that picture, right around Missionary Ridge I shot my first deer. I will have to go through my picture album and find the pictures

Edit: for the youngsters here…a photo album is what we had before cell phones…lol

I used photo albums up until 2006. Does that make me old then?? :flushed::flushed::flushed:

Nooooooooooo!

We use to have a herd of Elk down here in the valley every winter. The bugling was pretty amazing to hear at night. I could see the train from my kitchen window. I was blessed to live there ten years. God did some of his finest work there.

I have been all over the world. Nothing matches the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.

Went bushwalking at our nearby National Park yesterday afternoon. I used to do these walks every fortnight until a few years ago. Felt amazing to be back out there, this walk was 12km and the contrast in environments was incredible. Absolutely loved it
