So beautiful!
Greetings to the böhmische and sächsische Schweiz from me enjoy!
Red Mountain Mining District (Million Dollar Highway)
Guston Ghost Town
Crystal Lake (Red Mountain Pass)
Kenosha Pass has some of the best fall colors. These are beautiful!
I know that was last fall, so freaking beautiful it seems like it’s not even possible when you first see it
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Are you in Colorado?
I use to live in Durango.
I miss it so much.
I know all these I love it! Such a great time of year.
I might have to dig up some old ones. And post.
Edit. I cannot drive on the million dollar highway. No sir. I cannot. Will not.
It’s terrifying
I just moved to ST. Pete Florida from the Denver/ Boulder area a few months ago. Such a beautiful place
Oh ya. I guess you wouldn’t be sitting by the pool in the sun in Denver this time of year. now that I think about it. We looked at Boulder/Denver to live 12 years ago but choose Durango. Figured Boulder would be too much like Austin, TX where we were living. All beautiful places.
Yes! Post some of yours! I love Colorado in autumn. I was afraid of the Million Dollar Highway the first time we rode on it, but that’s because my FIL was driving like a bat out of hell! I’ve been over it so many times now that I’m not afraid of the road anymore. I don’t go during winter, unless it’s dry. And in summer the only thing that scares me are crazy drivers, most of them from Colorado. It’s definitely a sketchy drive, and I show it a lot of respect.
Thanks a bunch, Eric.
I use to live in The Ranch. 9 miles north of Durango
Missionary Ridge. September 2017. My property backed up to The James Ranch.
Hermosa Cliff behind the clouds.
And my fave was going up to Christ Of The Mines in Silverton.
I’ve been to the James Ranch for fresh veggies. You lived on some beautiful property! Christ of the Mines is a lovely place. I’ve really enjoyed learning the history of these old places. Beautiful pictures!
I miss their eggs so much.
