Post your most inspiring photos of nature #5

Yes, I know her and the story behind it. But I think not many Dutchies do these days. Maybe just the older ones like me :face_with_peeking_eye:

Its hard to pick a favorite bird. The Albatross is high on my list. I love watching these birds fly. Getting good flights shots is hard on a rocky boat with fast birds and a heavy lens. I love watching them land and take off. They literally walk on water. I thought I was going to get this one, but the ocean had other plans.

I got this one taking off.

They love to touch the water with the tips of their wings. This was my best shot of that.

That’s so weird! Lightening maybe? Cool photos

No, I asked some people who lived around there and no one seems to know. Besides, we don’t get lightning like that in Oregon. Well, not this part of Oregon.

The eastern side of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range. A good two thirds of it anyways. This is the middle section. From left to right is south to north.

And the upper section. Off in the distance in the northern area is where I live.

And you can barely see the outline of it due to the smoke in the air but that’s the back side of Pike’s Peak.
