Post your most inspiring photos of nature #5

The second fired burned 4000 acres in the Malibu Canyon area. That whole hillside way in the background behind Pepperdine College was on fire. Both of them. All of it.

After some rain comes, hopefully in Feb/ March and then it gets warm (60 +) will be teaming with mushrooms in the burn! If any of that is state land I’d be looking for morels.

Nice. Very nice indeed. Is that a baby kangaroo? Or a young one? He’s soooo cute :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

You’re welcome

I worry about you when I see these fires. Thinking of you. :people_hugging::heart:

Aww. Thank you for thinking of me Sassy. That is so sweet of you. We are good. Currently. That fire was 45-50 minutes away from us. Now that other one was kind of close the beginning on November.

No fires presently and lots of muggy but cool marine layers these last weeks. So that nice.

With all your goings ons I hope you managed to have a Happy Christmas and I wish you and your feet a Happy New Year :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thank you kindly @JazzyS @Dazercat
I saw the Female Roo with the joey in her pouch and waited patiently to try get a shot without disturbing them too much. I heard some rustling on the ground whilst looking up into a tree and instantly shit myself thinking it was a Danger Noodle (snake) but thankfully it was a beautiful little Echidna.

Hello @JazzyS
Yes, I’m here until a few days after new year. It’s always very nice to be back home :house_with_garden::heart:
I never want to leave and time always flies way too quick over here… :smirk:

Thank you, yes. The castle was built in year 1234 if you can believe it  and the name of my hometown in translation means ‘Elbow’ and is based on the shape of the river :slightly_smiling_face:

Went for my morning walk as I’m off today. First I was too lazy to get off the sofa, but then I saw some of the pics posted on here, with grey skies, snow and fog, and thought I had to get my butt out there! I woke up to 2 degrees Celsius, but right now the temperature is ok!
