I’ve been trying to find my grandpa for 13 years!

My grandmother is buried next to her first husband and father of her children (who died in 1953), so her second husband of 50+ years was buried next to his sisters…but :grimacing: None of us remember where  I was at the burial! I’ve combed the rows searching, again and again. The plot map from the church is inaccurate. I think I’m the only one who cares to find him anymore. I’M GONNA!

Did the same sort of thing to find my maternal GGMs grave, even my Mum didn’t know where it was.
Found it after about 6 months on and off searching.

I belive you will. Any idea who did the service or burial prep? They may have logged it down as to location/ site of burial.

Yeah, I’ve never actually spoken to anyone from his church. I’ve been tempted to ask the grounds keepers bc there’s gotta be 10+ headstones with the family name, assuming they pay any attention (idk, I would :woman_shrugging:). But it’s also kinda something I want to do on my own. I haven’t walked thru there since being sober, so maybe this’ll be the year

Saw this cuckoo wasp (aka emerald wasp) when I was doing some yard work. These brilliant insects are only millimetres long and absolutely stunning in their colouring. Was difficult to get a good shot. First image is just a crop of the second, which shows just how tiny they are.

Looks like a Wright’s Tree Frog, they get quite big and are fantastic
