Me not having much international experience or knowledge did know Australia was having summer when USA having winter. Here the education one can get regarding weather and everything else in far away lands is priceless. Here in Northstate we had our first real heat spell and lasted a few days. I assume your beach weather is more consistent. Enjoy your day.
June and gloom at the beach. Sunny inland.

Here you go. Your sun for today.
I could google this but wanted to share and ask a question. Been here 6 years and these guys are a first. I assume tadpoles?. We have so many water fowl here I am surprised they made it this long.
They look like baby
to me. @tailee17
I suspect one fine morning you will look outside & see a crane or a white egret standing by the edge and the tadpoles will be missing…
Nothing gets past those guys.
Thanks for reply. Yes we have heron and egrets few hundred feet away in our creek. Not sure how fast of growth these guys have but feel as they grow the buffet will be set. I have seen our chickens around the spot too.. Not sure how aggressive the chickens are and not sure if tad poles are on their dietary guidelines. Yunna our Doberman gets in there few times a day.. Pollywog Baths are unique. Lucky Dog..
Thank you for reply and will keep all posted on the life cycles of my tad poles. As for the adults you can hear them at night but I don’t think they live here but next door as they have a small wetland. It has been 50+ years since I watched a tad pole grow. How fun.
Some photos from my hike today, trails were a little wet, but definitely worth the climb. Just wish it wasn’t as overcast! Oh well!
