The beautiful, and pretty rare, Jersey Tiger Moth!
Visited me whilst I barbequed and even sat on my hand 
been at least five years since I saw one of these gorgeous beauties. The underside was yellow on this one, but they also appear with bright red underwings.
The are called the Day Raider as they are diurnal moths! Pretty rad little buddy

I think I may have a strange affinity with the moths today.
Came across a Red Underwing moth tonight… And had to evict it before the boys took care of business.
On the way into my flat someone has left a few free items and this was something I picked up…
Cos life is funny like that. Can’t wait to do the embroidery

Eastern Tiger swallowtail. I can’t tell if it’s a she or he, but actually the females are prettier than the male in this species, with a band of blueish eyes along the bottom before the swallow tails.
