it was a lucky oppurtunity. All of a sudden there were alot of these in the water around the boat.
By the the time i cot the camera ready, the tide was ripping out and they were gone.
I found these hiding from the current. Lighting was perfect. I have some amazing slow motion footage too.
This is an idea that I have been playing around with I’m loving the results.

Yes, parakeets are commonly found in Agoura Hills , as they are part of the non-native parrot populations that have established themselves in Southern California. These flocks, often descendants of escaped or released pet birds, can be seen in the Santa Monica Mountains and are frequently observed in residential areas, sometimes feeding on backyard bird feeders. While they are a popular and exciting sight for many residents, they can also be quite noisy.

We’ve also got parakeets in Sheffield 
and although we have some very cold weather they are thriving.
And, yes they are very, very noisy usually at dawn and dusk
