Both of my parents were alcoholics and I have vivid memories from childhood one of which haunted me to the day my mother died. I posted about it here, early on in my sobriety. I’d go look for it to repost, but I’d just as soon let sleeping dogs lay.
So I can see why this book speaks to you.
