Recent time reset

So I had to reset my clock recently because of 4/20. I just thought I’d share with the cmunity here where Im at and where I’m headed. I actually felt that I got many new reasons to not go back because of realizations in that there were many things that I did not like about that experience. Things like I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t like having the munchies either. I’m back on my clock count though and I’ll be making it much longer this time.

Thank you for honesty. To thine own self be true. I used to have issues with resetting my clock after a relapse. I wanted credit for days clean and I always thought it should count. It took a while to realize. It’s not as clean time but more as of experience- how you got through cravings, what were triggers that you defeated- what behavior were you practicing while sober… When you reset you reevaluate those things and then start over - armed with new strength and knowledge and continue that behavior. That’s what lengthens clean time.
