Relapsed, on day 8 right now

My first foray into recovery i relapsed at 9 months. The second time around i relapsed on meth, just shy of 5 months.
I was intending to hide it this time around and go on like nothing happened.
But it ate at me, like the darkness chewing at my soul .
It wasn’t until a very close friend of mine told me he relapsed too, and I came clean.
Slowly the truth is unraveling, like the thread of a sweater.
One day at a time. I will tell my sponsor next.
Thank you for hearing me out.

Warm welcome, boy don’t them relapses get more painful each time, but your av got honest and moving forward, definitely share with ya sponsor that’s one of many reason there there to help give suggestions and experience. Lovely to have you on board

Take it one day at time. Will lead you to succeed:+1::+1:

I look at it as if im in a boxing ring, i have to watch my stance an opponents hands if i get hit with a jab still can cause me points or i get knocked down for the count doesnt take much for an addict like me to be laid out flat on my back. Watch your guard, pick yourself up and be careful for those slips dont let it take you all the way out

Review the tape and see were you got hit last time to help you from being in a vulnerable position, avoid getting knocked down.

Opening up is a very good thing, addiction florish by secrets
Congratulations for the 8 days :facepunch:
