I relapsed after almost a month of trying to get over my porn addiction. I have never felt so shitty, it feels like I have given up like all the other times, but maybe this could be different.
I have decided to give up my phone. I had an honest discussion with my mom and told her how I was feeling. I have decided to buy a flip phone or not use a phone completely, to not only cut my addiction off from its core but to also enjoy my senior year of Highschool outside of a screen.
Although I feel like shit, I know I can get better, life isn’t static, its always changing, and so I know its possible for me to change too.

There are other people here with the same addiction I believe some of them have programs on their phones that block them from viewing certain sites and content. You can then at least still access this forum when you need support

Hi @Anna191. It’s nice to hear back from you. It’s been a month. Sorry to hear about your relapse, but you did have a month.
I can relate to the struggle with having a smartphone. I used to carry solely 2G dumb phones. One actually looked like a calculator. Another was the size of my thumb. I loved them. Other people got a kick out of me using them. And it helped to keep me away from the internet.
Then cell phone companies started to phase out 2G. So I switched to 3G. The problem is that 99% of 3G phones have a web browser. The web browsers on them are the Devil. Nothing can block them. Had a few relapses on them to prove it. I used a Snapfon until last year when one of my kids stepped on it.
Now, I finally have a smartphone. But as @anon13078412 referred, I have a good block on it. Without it, I would have definitely relapsed about a dozen times this month. I would definitely recommend it.
