Resetting my clock

Weakness in sobriety sucks. But I made a deal that I will have 1 week sobriety by this time next week. Reached out to AA and will be attending a meeting wenedsay.
The biggest hurdle in my recovery is expressing these issues with the hubby. He is so consumed with his own things that he dosnt recognize any problems. And if he does he dosnt express them, maybe out of fear of a fight or he just isnt in tune. I’m always on top of things so he dosnt question it. Wish me luck on my first meeting

I’ve been going…16 days sober and 16 meetings done. I’m listening mostly.
Was it your first ever meeting?

Yes my very first. I was so nervous and I am not sure why. I’m plan to attend another friday. I have a really crazy schedule tomorrow. They gave me a beginners packet so I’ve been reading through that.

I love Christina Perri. She has a lot of songs about recovery.

Good for you Tay, and great for your recovery! AA saved my life, saves me from my stinking thinkin daily. Stay in the middle of the herd and they will give you all the support in the world. AA loved me until I could love myself. I applaud your courage! Can’t wait to hear more as you go! It works if you work it and you’re worth it! :rose:
