Four could be share with two if you look at two as the two letters A and I, that covers 4 of the oceans listed.

I’m hoping the mother is (ironically) the Sun. Her dearest son is Mercury (smallest planet). Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune were gifted rings. ?

Actually in Astrology the sun may be thought of as the Father. So maybe the moon is considered the Mother here?

The sisters are Earth and Venus. Venus has a truly hellish surface - anyone landing there would be melted by a combination of hellish heat and sulfuric acid rain 
Interesting fact about Venus though: the intermediate layers of the atmosphere, between the surface and outer space, have pressure and heat levels similar to Earth. If a means of having a floating colony could be devised, there is a chance we could colonize it.
