5K sunday was a walk/run situationship. I should have done it this morning and this would have looked a lot different. I believe this puts my streak up to 6 sundays on a row of at least a 5K

Some speed work this morning. Had to stop in the second interval for a car but overall this was super solid and hard lol The second interval was tough but I pushed through :woman_running:t2::heart::confetti_ball:

Some speed work :woman_running:t2::heart: Idk how accurate the nike app is cause it doesn’t even show a 7 pace but garmin said I hit it :woman_shrugging:t2: Hard and fun this morning.

Sounds like fun!! How long are the races? I’m doing a long run tomorrow and making a decision about signing up for a half in June. It starts and ends at a place called the blue hole. Literally just a hole with blue water lol but at the end of the race, runners get to jump in

Oh that sounds like fun!

Theyre differing lengths 5k. 5mi.7.8mi. 10k.10k. Holy shit i need to train for the 7.8mi! Missed that lol

Not sure how I managed negative spilts in the last 4 miles :joy: Tried some new gels and I dig them. I liked the strawberry kiwi more than the smoothie but both were good. Not to shabby for my longest run in a least a year.

Ps- @TeaCosy where you at? I feel like I haven’t seen you around lately

No idea how this went from a “just get through it” run to a negative spilts and very few walk breaks run. I’m super sore from yesterday and the first few steps hurt but very quickly I found a rhythm.

5K sunday :white_check_mark:

Tried so hard to do this entire fartlek but I ended up taking a walking break towards the end. I enjoy intervals but fartleks are hard workouts!!

Ive been struggling with being benched from running which feels like forever but maybe its been 2 weeks. Ive been working with a physical therapist on left knee pain 2x per week. No squats. No running. He finally said i could try jogging and i got to this morning.

In my defense my watch called it a recovery exercise yet i did jog a mile  physical therapist may say thats not pacing myself. No knee pain! But i have pain behind my right buttcheek now…potentially overcompensating? sigh gotta remind myself not to go all out and be patient with self

Feel good about this hour treadmill walk/jog
