Was just coming to post about this! :exploding_head: I can’t even fathom how fast that is, and for that long. I’d love to see him run with my own eyes. :person_running:

There is a breakdown in the article of his spilts but he was averaging under 5 minutes for a mile :exploding_head::exploding_head: I saw a video of his finish and he was moving so fast!

Can you imagine breaking the world record and finishing in less than 2 hours but placing 2nd?! :sob::sob:

Good morning sober runners. Today was a good run in recovery.

Treadmill
1mi slow pace job
2.5mi tempo run 9min/mi (8min if you ask the treadmill)
1mi slow pace jog

4.51mi running

Felt good. Last .5mi at tempo was mentally rough but i held my own!

I’m about to start another training cycle so I don’t want to run each day but I’ll be running 4 days a week if that helps

What a beautiful spring day. I ran 6.3mi straight for the 1st time in my life. Felt good. I was running faster than the chatgpt plan but felt strong

It’s that time of the year again!! I’m so excited to see Courtney racing this again. There are a few other racers I follow on socials. There is a live stream going on youtube if anyone wants to check that out. I’ve been watching it on and off

New plan in full swing. It’s just a little 9 week plan and then I will start my half marathon plan for the race in October

Awesome! What plan is it?

The one I just started is called Run faster. I’m hoping by doing it and then the half plan I’ll be able to get a decent time on my half.

My new plan acts like it doesn’t know me. 13 min is definitely my area for longer runs but not a 4miler. I just covered my watch and went on feeling.

Wow! She killed the overall men’s champ too. Did I read that right, Courtney was still running at the time of the article, fighting for a top 10?

Hopefully there’s a video recap one of these days.
