Pineapple on a salad itself doesn’t sound bad but I think it would taste funky with a dressing. Funny how that’s considered an American salad

I know, but I’m a Sweden. We even do banana pizza over here. When I order pizza, it’s rare, because ours have thin crust and I prefer the American bake up pan pizza version, so I mostly buy frozen, but when I do order I’ve got:
Pineapple
Bananas
Chicken
white kebab yoghurt sauce
On mine

It’s similar but our thousands Island have chopped relish and paprika in it.

I do love a good salad. I always order salads for my main. All kinds. Even with quinoa. And it’s funny because in restaurants the servers always bring me my wife’s cheeseburger or prime rib or fried chicken or steak and they always try to give her my salad. How sexist 
. Wifey likes her meat 
Anyway. I haven’t made this salad here before but I had it at a place called Legends in Anthem AZ. So easy and tasty fantastic. The pears and nuts and blue cheese is so tasty on the palette. 
PEAR SALAD* Mixed greens, sliced pears, candied pecans, bleu cheese crumbles and onions. Tossed in sweet cider vinaigrette.
Should be simple to make at home. Any nuts would do but those candies pecans are heavenly.
I’m getting hungry.
