I’m not focused on counting days, it really helps me to take each day as it comes. I’ve had a few minor lapses over the last year+, but I did a sort of reset for myself regarding codependent behavior and getting sucked in to my husband’s beer brewing hobby. It’s been pretty hard living with a brew hobbyist (who started this hobby at the beginning of the pandemic) who just wants to share his hobby with his partner who doesn’t drink. I finally was able to set firm boundaries and keep them! And be respected, too. Anyway, I took a look at that reset counter and was happy to see it! Thanks for you all sharing here and being inspiring. I’m grateful to be sober today. And to be putting my head on the pillow sober as we speak.

It feels like yesterday and a life time ago that I was on day 1, then day 21… I kept coming here and learning about recovery and about myself. Learning about my strengths, my weaknesses, my values and talents. My sober days turned into weeks, weeks in to months. Before I knew it, it was a year, then 2, then 3.

I’m looking forward to what’s next. Always!
