Wow, my life has changed 100%. This isn’t temporary for me, this isn’t a short term goal, this isn’t something I need recognition for everyday, this isn’t something I’m doing to impress anyone, this isn’t something I do for fun. I do this for myself, I do this because I need to better my health, I do this to improve my life, I do this because I took advantage of people when intoxicated, I do this because I wanted to stop lying to myself and other people. This isn’t easy. It’s hard work to change and improve. I struggle everyday. I’m not motivated everyday, I make a choice to stay sober, period. I do this because the only person I need approval from is myself and God.
