Hit six months! Where did that time go, its insane! I think its felt easier and flown by because i havent thought of it like its 6 months off alcohol like as though theres a deadline to one day start drinking again. It hasnt been a ball and chain to me or like im sacrificing part of my happiness or life. Its more of 6 months of a new fresh life and it can only continue to grow and blossom. Its been freeing and beautiful and i cannot believe how much alcohol robbed me of it.
Celebrated by getting up at 4.15 to see the 5.00 sunrise at Brean down. Which for people who dont know its a hill cliff walk that looks out to sea. It was high tide too this morning and it just felt beautiful. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend everyone and everyone should be so proud of each day they add to living a sober life. X
