Thomas, in my years of going to meetings with others like myself I’ve never heard someone share that they were so damn glad they relapsed. I suspect I never will either. Something I remind myself of often to help with this struggle. Hugs my friend.

Yes- this mentality is great but feeling like “I get to be Sober” is so freeing and doesn’t feel like a punishment but rather a reward. You are freeing yourself from the suffering of addiction and you are rewarding yourself with clarity, good health, a better life and so much more. 16 days is fantastic :muscle:t4::clap:t4::clap:t4:.
